JA Solar Showcases “Solar + Storage + X” with Integrated Solar-Storage-Charging Project for Fengxian Customs

Guided by JA Energy Storage’s “Solar + Storage + X” strategy, the China Fengxian Customs Rooftop PV-Storage Project demonstrates how integrated solar, energy storage, and EV charging solutions can support low-carbon transformation in public institutions by extending the value of solar energy across multiple use cases. Through system-level coordination, the project turns the “X” concept into a replicable application scenario that extends solar energy's value across multiple use cases.

The integrated system forms an efficient, quiet microgrid that supports on-site self-consumption while exporting surplus e to the grid. It is equipped with 166 JA Solar high-efficiency 630 Wp modules (104.58 kWp DC) and a 100 kW / 232 kWh energy storage unit. Intelligent operation is enabled through system-level coordination via the JANebula cloud-edge platform.

Once in operation, the project is expected to generate about 99,900 kWh of clean electricity annually, totaling nearly 2.5 million kWh over its lifecycle. This will reduce coal consumption by over 30 tons and cut CO? emissions by more than 99 tons each year – offering a scalable reference for public institutions pursuing clean, reliable, and cost-effective energy transition.
